yeah let me know ill help you put battery in trunk and all that stuff....and build the intake just get yourself a good filter....oh and get the AEM bypass valve also and some heat wrap (if you wanna heat wrap it, but it def makes a big time temp difference in summer)

well i ment both as in the mesh that covers the filter and the bypass valve ....you cant do 2 bypass valve you will loose power

to be honest i take the BPV off when its not raining i only put it if i know theres gonna be rain (i just keep it in my trunk and it takes like two mintues to put it on)

does keeping the bypass valve on all the time reduce power a little is that why you take it off when you dont need it?

no it doesn't reduce power not that i know off.

maybe, maybe not i dont have access to a dyno to actually see if it effects the HP but i think of it this way.

if you have another opening in the pipe thats closer to your throttle body whats stopping the air from getting into there first then thru the cone....i dont know im just a weirdo like that lolol

or maybe just a HP junkie =D

yeah thats my thought too, that it'll always be drawing a little air in through the bypass valve possibly raising temps. when the parts arrive and i get mine in ill do some tests and see what the air temps are like with and without it.

Sooooo the stillen appears to be the best Cai out the box yet the r2c with a lil tweaking... Neither is a true CAI
