Hey guys,

My friend has an 09 and has asked me to acquire some HID fogs for him and it seems that Notto is the way to go. Im going to get the ballasts and H11 bulbs from their website

but I need to know which color temp will best match the factory HID headlights.

Watz good bro I would tell your folk to go with the 5000k Notto SE offers to match the factory Fogs best...

 

Need to clarify... I want to match the factory headlight... not the fog.

 

Anything around 4300 is the OEM temp

 

i wanna swap my headlights and fog lights to match in output, thinking the notto 10000k, these are the ones i found, http://www.carid.com/2009-nissan-max...kit-77434.html ... is H11 right for the 2009's for fogs and headlights, and does this one order have both headlights and fog lights? or do i need 2 orders of the same thing, sorry if thats a dumb question lol

Yes you will need to order two kits and the h11 is the correct bulb for the headlight and fogs...

 

Just put my Notto's in last week. Got them for my low beams and fogs in 5000K. I was on the fence between the 5k and 10k's. After seeing them I'm real happy I got the 5's. They look sweet. The 10's would be way too blue for my liking. The guy I talked to from Notto said the 10's are bluer than what people expect. The 5's are perfect. Bright white light with a tiny hint of blue. You're going to give up brightness / visibility with the 10's.

 

so u ordered two sets of the h11's right? and one just goes to fogs and the other goes to ur lows, i was looking at the 10k but now i might reconsider the 5k, they were about 100$ for the fogs and 100$ for the lows right?

k money can u post a pic of ur whip w just the lows on? i wanna see how blue they look i know uve done a lot of mods to ur headlights so do u have any like original pics w just the lows on at night? im stuck btwn the 5k and 10k for the lows and fogs

good looks, its not a big deal if u cant just curious, my license plate bulbs are a bright white led, so i think im better off with white rather than the 10k blue anyway so theyll match nicely, i think im gonna go ahead an order, im just getting 2 of the same notto conversion kits for H11 bulbs 5k sound right?

Gotta say the 5k Notto lights looks great, the 10k & 15k look impressive with the headlight/halos but what does the road infront of the car look like.

Notto must use a different color/temp scale, I guess the purple and pink haze some cars put off with 10k+ must be some weird ebay bulbs, I've also heard different companies can make bulbs with the same temp ratings and they will vary in color.

Anyway, good luck with your new lights, when I switched out my headlights the 1st one took 30 minutes, the other side took 5

 

cant wait to get mine! ordered the 5k lows and fogs, have borla boomers on the way as well as eibachs, stillen front lip, and the RLP y-pipe, cant wait to get everything installed!
