Bumper Hit - Paint Chipping

Well I seem to be having no luck with my Max. First I got screwed with with the tint shop scratching up my back window. Then someone ran me off the road and now one of my rims is curb-rashed to hell. THEN I pulled out of a parking spot where the curb was really high and scratched up my front bumper at the bottom.

NOW: Someone hit my driver's side rear bumper. I used some bug and tar remover to get the paint and scuff marks off. The only residual damage is a circular chip of paint taken off (little smaller than a penny) and where the taillight and bumper meet the paint is missing from an area about an inch long.

This is going to drive me crazy. Insurance would cost $500 deductible (I'm assuming they would consider this "Collision"...) so I can't go that route.
Is there anything I can do to ensure that paint doesn't keep chipping off?
It looks fairly clean and I think I can live with it. I just don't want it to get worse, ya know?

I'll try and put a pic up later.
