2011 A/C problem

My friend has a 2011 Maxima SV with no packages. When she turns her car off (A/C on) then turns the car back on the A/C doesn't come back on automatically. Is this normal?

The dealer left the car in Inventory mode. There is a "button" to press in the fuse panel over your right knee.

Looks like a big oversized fuse...

THANKS! just got my 2011 SV and was wondering the same thing. Stupid service tech was like "that's the way it is" I argued with him and told him I was going to find the answer and come back and tell him. I also said if I find it for the dealer, can I charge virtual labor? Thanks again...this is exactly what I am seeing. Resets to off and 75 upon each restart. How can these people not know what they are selling? And not care?

Found it. White square looking plastic fuse thing in the middle of the fuse box, left side of driver's compartment. Just press it in fully and bang, climate control memory restored! Thanks!

I signed up with the forums to tell the OP thanks. I bought my maxima from a dealer a ways away from where I live and they wanted me to bring it back there for this problem. I have 200 miles on it and was not looking forward to the drive. Pushed in the plastic fuse cover and it fixes the problem. This also fixes the homelink operation on the mirror.

Bump having same issue on 2009 maxima and i dont have a white thingy to push in on fuse box on bottom left fusebox by driver feet. Im guessing a fuse blew somewhere. Will look into it
Also noticed the beep when keys left in car stop working along with a/c at startup.
Must be 7th fuse on top to the right called 10A ELEC PARTS (BAT)

Steevo, thanks for posting this fix. You may never see this thank you. I have a 2012 Max. Same issue, couldn't keep my climate settings to remain after shutting the car off. I bought the car in 2014 and have been setting the climate for 2 1/2 yrs. FINALLY some knows what the f... they're talking about!!!!! THANK YOU
