I wish I could answer yes to that. Unfortunatley, I was kinda forced into going the super easy route. By super easy I mean letting the dealer do and deal with everything. My issue is that lately I have been traveling for work more frequently. When I am in town, I work about an average of 10 hours a day. When I am not working, I try to spend as much time with my wife and kids as possible.

Trust me, if I had the time to handle it all my self and make all of the calls and make all of the purchases and find places to install, I would have totatlly done that.

Damn Rich, I could sell u mines, for $1200, well I know that 10hrs a day work schedule, sometime u can't deal with the stress after a long days work..U should ask them to get u the Continental DWS tires, instead of the BS factory tires.

FINALLY!!! I got my car back. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I was jacked and stoned. Man did I miss my car. Not only because I didn't have my barcode to get in to the "Secured" gated community, but because I really missed driving it. Oh well, now I hope that whoever tries to take my wheels again has a whole lot of fun trying to deal with 20 wheel locks.

We had similar incidents where I work. It is a small town and we never have any problems, but someone decided to jack up several cars in our parking lot and steal catalytic converters. I guess they get plasma out of them. It would be hard not to drop the floor jack if someone was under your car stealing your exhaust! I will be looking into wheel locks after seeing this!!!! Sorry that happened to you!

Just be careful, it takes slightly more time to take those locks off with the key, so much that the techs at the dealer charged me for rotating my tires but never rotated them

An eye for an eye, you can't swing a golf club into someones head if they are stealing your wheels but accidentally lowering the jack, that was a freak karma accident

Car DVR

I just bought a car DVR to put in my mother-in-laws car because someone keeps keying it in a shared garage. I looked at the videos online and I think it's a great thing. Also comes in handy if you want to record your driving skills .

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005680BX2

Might be worth investing in.

This is very interesting. I'm thinking of getting a system for home. Every morning I wake up and go check it to make sure the shoes ar still there.

I agree STARR!!!! I just don't understand why people do this stuff... I caught some older teens entering garages (garage doors open) in my neighborhood a couple of years back & I was surprisingly cool headed. I don't think that they will be entering garages again after I caught them. They were in tears after I told them that it counts as breaking & entering. Come to find out they were taking beer...
