Read in another post that the VSS wires look for speed, and the airbags might not deploy if the car doesn't sense speed.

BS right? There are sensor that if crushed are crushed and the airbags deploy correct?

I've been thinking about this and can't find any information so I'm wondering if anybody has messed with this before? I have a 2011 Maxima SV with heated seats. There are two switches for the heated seats and there is a third switch location which would be if I had the rear window screen. Since I don't have the rear window screen option that switch is just a piece of plastic. Would it be possible to put the navigation bypass switch in place of this "blank fill in"? This would be the perfect solution to putting a switch in and making it look clean and just like it came from the factory.

Here is a picture I took off ebay of what I'm talking about incase there is any confusion. Thanks guys.
