GT-R fob

I was wondering if anyone knows if the plastic housing for the key fobs can be purchased separately from the entire fob? Near as I can tell from ebay or courtesy parts catalog you can't. I was thinking of replacing the plastic housing with the one from the GT-R instead of the stock nissan one, its kind ugly and boring....

It is, i just don't like the look of the nissan logo. Probably for the same reason why i have removed it from just about the rest of my car.

I guess while I am at it, does anyone know of a steering wheel cover that eliminates the emblem from there? it can just be blank or anything but that logo is quite awkward staring me in the face all the time.

Or you can get the Infiniti fob if that logo doesn't scare you...

Yea you wouldn't want to be confused with "wanna be" GT-R owners out there.

From the looks of it you can take apart your OEM one and take the internal parts place in the GTR shell. I actually might try that. I like the idea but not the price I will be asking the dealer tomorrow after I get some work done to my car.

Look at these pics will take like 5 min to do. I took mine apart so you can see.

I'd take a "Nismo" key fob if there is one but not a GT-R.
