2011 Maxima - protecting leather??

Hi everyone - just upgraded to a 2011 Maxima. Have kids. Wondering if there's a really good product out there to protect the leather seats, prevent stains, etc. Thanks!

Your Welcome, it sold at most auto part stores, I get it at autozone, easy to apply and it's not greasy or wet, just give it 20 minutes or so to dry

The Meguiar's stuff is pretty decent and found just about anywhere. I'm a huge fan of the Zaino cleaner and conditioner (www.zainostore.com). With kids though, the Meguiar's stuff is certainly cheaper (sure you'll be using it frequently having children )

Oh..yeah I have heard of Zaino car waxes..didn't know they made the leather stuff. I'll check it out at least. Maybe I'll buy one of each. And yeah...kids definitely do a great job of getting things dirty so I'll try to stay a step ahead of them! Thanks!

I use the lexol cleaner and lexol conditioner... They worked great. 2 separate bottles though.

Thanks for the other ideas guys! My last car had cloth interior and I just used Scotch Guard on it, which worked ok. Had to go with leather this time around though!

I've been using SmartWax leather cleaner & Conditioner. That stuff works amazing. I found the stuff @ a swapmeet about 8 years ago and have been using it since. I've seen it sold @ my local Nissan dealer but I buy it direct from the source. Plus I buy it in a gal. size since all the cars are leather. I had a shockwave boat with white interior and let me say it brought back the white in the vinly in the seats. If I had a picture of what the boats seats looked liked before and after I would of posted it. If you need some info on the product here is a link

I used meguire for a while but felt it left too much residue on the vinyl. I switched to blue magic cleaner and conditioner that PepBoys and Advance Autoparts sells.

I'm a fan of Zaino.

They have a cleaner and protectant (leather in a bottle). They smell great.

They have changed the formula, no longer thick and white, more like hand sanitizer with lotion

I use Autoglym leather cleaner and balm. Works great... smells like leather and doesn't leave a nasty residue.

I was recently turned on to "Leather Only" Single bottle cleans and conditions, matte finish, softens the leather and restores the original leather smell.

Zainos "Leather in a Bottle" is the only way to go. I used it on my Pilot & I loved it. It works great in my opinion. I have tried the others & I didn't like the way they made the leather feel & I also didn't like the smell. Zainos actually does smell like real leather.

+1. Smells like brand new leather after the Zaino treatment. Brings out the natural smell of the leather, plus has UV protectant to keep everything supple. Been using it for years with no complaints at all!

Used Zymol about 10 years ago, but that stuff smelled like coconut and would give you a headache after sitting in there for hours on a long trip.

You will too once you get it I got their whole package, for my b day about 2 yrs ago and will never go back. The shine it puts on the paint is un believable. The leather cleaner and conditioner is perfect.

Great stuff and just great results. It is pricey stuff though. But well well worth it in my opinion!

I think I need to find someone to keep my car detailed! I find myself lacking time or energy to tackle it sometimes.
