7th gen led modded interior

who would be interested in this mod? the 6th gen has this and i just thought it may or may not be something of interest. it would remove the orange color in the cluster , doors , radio , etc to any choice you may want.

that link was news to me. my idea was to buy the cluster , radio , and doors switches. i would lend them out while the work was being done as a loaner until yours was complete. i know this is total trust on my part but this would be after a deposit to cover the items. the customer would never be without any parts while the work is being done. my reason for the thread was to once again judge the intrest into this mod. i currently do them for the 6th gen from time to time. my car interior is modded by myself.

i am not trying to get banned or will post a price for anyone to commit to. just a thought on bringing more mods to the 7th gen family.for some reason i like you guys.lol

Nice pic Tony! I like it. Looks like Mooshoo sanded down his needles to get the red off? Anyway props to you guys for tackling this, I have no idea how you solder anything smaller than PLCC-2's so big ups

Yeah he wanted everything blue vs I wanted to keep some of the OG LEDs (check engine, brake, ect).

Soldering is not for everyone, please don't try this at home! lol

Thanks again.

This can't be a cost-conscious mod, IMO. Far too many man-hours to make it a viable upgrade for the "masses." Although, I do love it, and if car cash was always allotted from the household income...... I'd be on it like white on rice.

yah this is more of a "can I change it?" mod for those (like me) who just do it for the hell of it. as djtony said this type of micro-soldering is no joke you have to be really experienced to even try or you might as well order a replacement instrument cluster before you start

Honestly it's not too bad as long as you have experience soldering. When i did my 350 i did it at work a piece at a time.

Here are more changes. I now added the blue to the push start and the console. Let me what you think?

Reminds me of how i felt this past weekend. I was at a friend's house doing some stereo work for her and needed a soldering iron. She ran to her mom's house to get one and came back with a friggin jumbo soldering lance they use to do stained glass windows with. Talk about a pain in the ***
