Loaner!

I have a fkn question!!!

Why the hell doesnt Nissan give loaners to NEW car buyer if the car they bought have issues!!?

Or this just the sorry *** dealer near me?

I mean I understand if its a used car and they dont want to but a BRAND NEW one? Come on MAN!

Its not like im asking for a damn GTR for a loaner just the equivalent!

/rant!

depends on the dealership i think. the place near me gave me a loaner Altima while removing the tint from my car so it'd pass inspection (came with tint when I bought it used), but any other time i need a ride. kinda wack

I have had so many issues with my damn seats not working that when they see me coming they start to write up the loner form...and its always for an altima... twice its been 2.5 and three times 3.5.. but always some used sedan on the lot.

I bought the extended warr on my car and it covered having a loaner anytime car in shop

But I agree, new car u should be given a loaner for the 3yr 36k mile period.
On my next car I will only buy from dealer who gives me loaner when car in shop and will get that in writing upon purchase.

" if u stand by your car as being a extremely reliable car as salesman always claim. Then there should be no need for my car to be in shop. And u shouldn't worry about giving me a loaner., cause as salesman claim there never in shop for problems ..

I have had many many problems and repairs with my max (See thread titled "So Mine is a piece of $h!t") And through all my frustrations with my dealer and Nissan I have always had a loaner ... literally every car / suv nissan makes I have been given.

I was once told that I can get a loaner if my car posed a safety issue and needed to be kept. But minor issues, no loaner.

I honestly think its sad... IMO If its a NEW car then you should be in titled to a loaner regardless of how major or minor the service is...

i.e When I take my Acura in for service I get a loaner even if the job is an hr.

This might be my one and only non luxury brand purchase... I think customer service should be priority specially when ur backing your "flagship" model.

My Nissan dealership provides loaners for work that will require the customer to wait more than 2 hours or you made prior arrangements. Typically it's an Enterprise rental car which is on site that's really convenient.

Infiniti always provides loaners it's actually on the new car sticker no matter what you drop the car off for.

My Porsche dealership sucks they supposedly provide loaners but I've never seen any so I end up on the dealer shuttle driving me to work and back.

Infiniti dealer has a liberal policy when it comes to loaners, but I would rather wait.

Loaners are up to the dealers. Most dealers on LI provide loaner cars if your car is in the shop greater than 24 hours. If we are paying sticker price for our vehicles than I can see people *****ing and complaining about not getting loaners, but when you get a $42k car for $34k it is what it is. Most car companies that offer lifetime maintenance provide loaners at the time of service but that costs a premium. They are not receiving 20% discounts on the sticker price.

wow, my dealership rules! At one time they screwed up with not having me on the appointment list, and my main requirement is to have a loaner...they took me to Enterprise and paid for the loaner from them! and the only loaner Enterprise had available was a brand new F150 Quad cab....that was nice!

My dealership actually has a rental department that they give you a loaner from. Granted they're ALL white base model 2.5 Altimas, but i guess that's better than nothing.
