welcome man. my suggestion first is to just go drive the car and enjoy it, you have plenty of time to void warranties.

rcjunkie's 09 maxima updates/mods

Hey, I just got an 09 also last month. Not plannning on doing any engine mods but here's what I plan on doing or have done externally.

Done: plasti dip chrome bars on front grill. Looks good. Search for the plasti dip thread for more info. Gives a nicer appearance to front end.

Current Plans:

1. Install Stillen lip spoiler. Completes the 7th generation
2. Install rear Stillen roof spoiler. Thought it would look dumb but looks tasteful and nice. Might also get an eBay roof spoiler cuz it's painted and cost way less than Stillen
3. Lower car with Eibach Pro Kit springs. Parking and speed bump driving habits will need to change

Future plans:
1. Replace stock battery with Optima battery. I already killed my stock battery after 2hrs of downloading CDs in my garage to the Music Box. Needed to recharge Nissan battery with RC car charger at 5amps for 15min
2. Replace steering wheel lock mech box. It can be faulty and you'll be stranded. If under warranty do it soon. There is a TSB.
3. Weather Tech. Floor, trunk liners
4. Wheel locks
5. Spare tire trunk organizer with first aid kit and emergency road kit

Thats about all I can remember off the top. Good luck!

Congrats on your new 7th gen man. Just like Ghozt said, enjoy it cause it's a nice upgrade from your previous cars. Any pics???
