Thanks man! And it's not my car for the record, it's a good friend of mine's, but I'm doing all the work/styling/suggesting lol. I have to say I'm not a big fan of those wheels at all tho.

And I'm in South Jersey, Cumberland County...

I didn't see the camber arms in any of your pics in your thread, although I did see the RL Endlinks. Looks real good. But yea, if you could snap some pics of the camber arms I would really appreciate it, would like to see them installed!

It's appears what you linked is indeed the Spec Camber Kit #72050 that I was talking about earlier in the thread that I saw someone else mention. My lazy a$$ didn't take the 2 seconds to actually Google it until now. SMH @ myself. But it's good to see you confirming it works.

I had my friend take the Max to get aligned at the only shop in my area that does low cars, they did my car, couple other of my friends slammed cars, every Civic that's on the ground around my way, and they told her they couldn't do the alignment. >_< So I'm gonna play with it and get it on point as possible for the time being...

Careful doing that yourself because you have to grind and slot the adjustment bolt and you can mess it up easy

Yes, I am running the spc camber arms (pn 72050), it is for the 350z but works on our cars. I also have the spc from camber bolts as well!

True! You have any pics of the arms as well?

And I didn't think camber bolts would be necessary up front, any part number for the front camber bolts?

they are not if you have the camber plate. which must of the coilover sold for our cars have them.. now since the hole to access the nuts to adjust camber is really narrow and can barely reach in there.. its best to use camber bolts.. i have them aswell.

Ya front camber plates kinda suck because the top apron hole is so small. U have to remove the entire strut assy just to make adjustments.

Camber bolts give you 2* up front but it looks crazy when to you look at the car from far away

Thanks for all the input guys.

Yea, the hole is definitely small as ****. I gotta it relatively on point before I installed them tho, but I'm sure it needs some adjusting. The camber plate on my car is fully exposed which makes it easy as hell to adjust, when I saw the size of the hole on the Max in comparison to the camber plate I was like WTF.

I noticed the 3 strut mounting holes are also somewhat slotted, the studs on the coils don't take up the entire mounting hole, so it appears minor adjustments can be done there as well.

tAdAaA & bryansuavo, what bolt were you guys talking about that needs to be grinded??

the rear camber arms comes with rear camber bolts. In order to install them you will have to get the original camber holes drilled out to accommodate the new camber bolt. I would suggest taking it to someone who knows how to do it.

Ahhh I see. I don't know anywhere around me who would know anything about it I have a hard time trusting shops too, I DIY EVERYTHING lol.

I guess I will do some more figuring out once the camber arms are ordered and in my hands.

Looks like I'm gonna have my friend order the SPC camber kits hopefully tomorrow tho.

Found this install video on YouTube of the 72050, the drilling out of the hole shouldn't be a big deal at all. I've done stuff like that a few times.

I'm starting to find this out the hard way. I'm at the point where there is only 1 person I take my car to for anything mechanical I can't do, and everything else I do myself. Funny how an amateur armed with Youtube can often do a better job with their car than most shops that don't give a cr@p about it and do sloppy work or scratch things up

You get what you pay for! Of you go to a cheap shop they WILL scratch ur car up, strip your bolts, and cross thread $h!t up but if you spend a little more an go to a high end shop everything will be ok, the last guy that went to my shop to get wok done was a cheap a$$ and was crying about prices! If you wanna play hard you have to work hard to get it. Asking "how much?" is rude!

Positive camber has remedy via the knuckle bolts, and it's enough to be straight

hey man, i know your refering to me. Your shop is good when it comes to work, but are insaine at pricing.. 60 bucks to install front camber bolts? Come on. They go by the "install" time that they have. Saying oh it says its about 40 min install when they guy took 5 mins to do since he was adjusting the height of the car. That pissed me off.. I never complain about paying for stuff when i know the craftmanship is excellent. But noone likes to get ripped off.. And thats how i felt..

Are u trying to get more camber? Or correct camber? Why correct? Just let the camber be so u can get more clearance.

Why r u guys messing with parts to adjust camber? You dont need to.

probably for more even tread wear. for a show car i can see a lot of neg camber being ok. for a DD you'd get way less mileage out of your tires you normally would. personally id rather spend my money on other mods or non-car related things than blow a ton on rubber

neg camber ftw -

Stance fitment and corrected camber are contradictory statements.

Have u heard of flipping tires from one side to left to fight the camber wear?

Anyhow im not getting into this with u, do whatever u please.

yeah you can pay to have the tires pulled off and re-mounted (which if you have rims worth anything you take em to a touchless system which is a lil pricier than say Mr. Tire) but not everyone is that pressed about wheels to go through all this trouble/money just so their wheel looks bent inwards. i wont hate on the neg camber look cuz i think it looks nice on show cars, but for a DD it is simply too much of a hassle for me to bother with. to each their own.

Negative camber doesn't really waste much more tire than it would normally BUT... If the toe isn't aligned perfectly straight you will burn tires all day. My tires are awesome and I drive my car an average Of 60 -70 miles daily

To be honest in my experience it has nothing to do with price. I've found great shops that are cheap and terrible shops that are insanely expensive too. I've even gone back to the same shop multiple times and just based on who was working that day either got terrible or great quality work.

My best success has been through personal referrals of specific shops from other gear heads and doing everything myself that doesn't require a lift or heavy-duty tools. Since you own a shop you'll understand me when I say it's fun working on cars and I have no complaints.

This is why:

The car has way to much negative camber, and it looks even worse in person.

I want as much adjustability & alignment options as possible for the car. The car is going to be sitting low & flush, but it's not going to be anything crazy. It's not going to be Stance Nation worthy lol, but it will be sitting right.

This Max belongs to a female, who has 2 kids...we are just going for a nice clean flush look, not trying to frontline on Stance sites.

so use the camber plates that come with the coilovers, bring it out and add positive camber into it. It will bring it out a good amount.

dood my m5 style wheels would look so sick on that color!

That's after the initial drop, still more work to be done...

Do these coilovers have camber adjustment bolts up top? because it doesnt look like they do.... there suppose to be 4 Torque style bolts up top of the purple plate to adjust camber because mine did (megan racing) and i have my camber str8 in the front and back without a camber kit.....
