OEM Style Spoiler ??

Guys Brand new Member here as. I just bought a 2010 pearl white max sv premium. The premium version doesnt come with a stock spoiler so im looking at options for buying one prepainted. Ive looked at the Nissan OEM and it seems like they make you buy weather seals and another piece that takes the price up over 300 bucks. Is this all needed or are the oem style spoilers from other online stores for under 200 bux good enough? Thanks guys any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Hey man. Congrats on your Maxima.. You'll enjoy it.. As for the spoiler, the online stores for under 200 are O.K... Just go OEM if I were you.... BUT If you get the prepainted one, just make sure you know the color code of your car and have a body shop paint it and install it only if your unsure how to. If your confident enough to install, go to Installation Instructions / How-To's / FAQ's / Reviews / Recalls / Accessories. There is a link on how to install a spoiler. GET the weather strip. Water might find it's way into your truck.

How different is the OEM spoiler from an aftermarket one?? Is the weather strip the only difference?? And the wiring harness?? And who has an after market spoiler?? How do u like it, and do u wish u had gotten the OEM one instead?? I really Am considering an aftermatket one. Can anyone tell me the differences between an OEM and aftermarket one??

I'm guessing the only the screw holes are different from the original one... Im not too sure but i heard it was... Just go OEM because if something goes wrong, you have nissan to blame... IDK about the after-market weather strip... Im guessing its the same...

Nissan is only responsible if its both their part AND they install it. I'm sorry but the install of that spoiler is not worth apostle 200in labor plus 300+ for the parts. Espescially if the spoilers are damn near identical.
