Hi guys, NEW Here but did search but did not find an answer.. You're help is appreicated.

I just bought a new 2012 Maxima, it has the dvd player feature, the dvd plays when in park with emergency brake down, but im wondering is there a FIX to make it play the video while car is in motion?

My 4 Runner (alpine head unit) does, it only required a small electronic pack to be wired in......

Any help/hints for this car?

I don't think you are going to get much help from this forum on how to disable saftey features on your car.

 

Search you tube..a buddy did his 2010 by installing inline relay .

 

actually there are a ton of threads on this. there is a way to bypass that so you can watch DVDs while moving, just your navigation will no longer track you because the VSS will think the car is not moving

Ludacris of course you will. Do you have navigation or just the in dash screen? It's really as simple as removing the head unit, cutting two wires and grounding one of them, I think the instructions for either version are

My car actually have the NAV and the ability to play DVD's if one is inserted in the CD slot.
