pics of new ride and 5% tint

Thought I would post a few pics of my new '12 SV sport + tech Maxima. Just had the windows done at 5%. Job was free and is darker than I was expecting. Had 5% on back of my truck over factory tint and didn't think it would be this dark over normal windows. Its fine with me and looks sweet but its basically calling cops my way. I have 15% on my other cars and they are dramatically different.

It looks great but it is dark and is gonna appear darker at night. I went with the 15%.

Looks great. I'm also a fan of 5% all around but not the constant stops by local patrol and the $115 tickets they hand out. Payed a lot in the past so I went with the 20% all around no issues with them now.

That is hellla dark....... here in upstate NY you would get pulled over by the first cop that would see your car with those tints.... A cop would take a razor and probably cut through them just to make sure you took them offf.....<<<<<< true btw ive heard of too many incidents

If a cop does that taking a razor to your windows I'd sue the hell out of the department they cant do that to your vehicle... Depends on the cops though round here State dont care its locals that care

Looks great, bro. I just had mine done in 18%. It's plenty dark enough. Keep your sunroof hider open to let more light into the vehicle while you're driving and maybe help you avoid the po-pos.

I would get the cops badge number and have him suspended. Then Id sue the department for destruction of property. They cant do that.

very nice, 5% is dark especially at night in dark areas streets with no lights, you get use to lowering your windows, I love my 5% but I live in and go to school in ATL and dark tint is needed to protect the interior, Im from upstate NY so I eventually drive around NY

Really? I have driven all over the state with 15 in front and 5% on back window and doors over factory on my truck, and 15% all around my civic and never had a problem. What part of NC are you from
