XYLON PROTECTION PACKAGE????????

Is this worth the money? It only made a difference of about 6$ in my payment, but i haven't had it put on yet. Im supposed to go friday and have it done and I would like to have yall's opinion on it. They are supposed to rub onto the leather and spray the carpet but spray the outside as well. Totall i think it was between 400 and 500 dollars. I have read several reviews and hundreds of post on other websites saying to save your money and don't get it. I have 2 daughters and both are very young so I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this stuff or may know someone who has?

Thanks in advance.

If it's this item: XZILON, a friend of mine in the industry says it's not much more than Scotchgard spray inside and a wax/sealant on the outside.

AKA, you just made the sales person a nice commission.

Big mistake buddy!!! They got me on this when I bought the car, the damn sale man made it sound like it's the greatest invention since slice bread but in reality it's not!!!

If you read the fine print on it states that you can't go through a car wash or use any other wax on the car after they spray the Xzilon on, warranty will be voided if you do...

They also said it that it'll shine for the life of your car with simple washing...this is not true!!! It has been 4 months since I bought the car and I can't see the shine like the day that it sprayed on...It's gone and I'm out 600 bucks!!! I asked for a respray and they told me it's a one time thing...

FYI you can get a bottle of this stuff on ebay for 40 bucks and spray it yourself...

Do not get this package!!! They are trying to squeeze every pennies from you, I know! They got me...don't be another victim...

Man i do appreciate it. I called my dealer yesterday afternoon and asked to cancel it. He said no problem and they would be glad to adjust the payment and redo the paperwork at no cost to me and all is well. He did admit that most people thinks it sounds good and its a product that they are required to ask people if they want but they don't push it on their customers to take it. Most don't take it and of the ones that did a few have had some minor issues mostly with the front of the vehicles. I did a lot of research yesterday and with yall's opinions i feel i came to the right conclusion on skipping out on having the xzilon application done to the car.
This is exactly why i like forums. REAL people giving REAL answers. Thanks to all yall.

No problem bud...glad you could get your money back, your dealer is more reasonable than mine!

If you want shine just wash your car regularly and wax it using products from autozone or walmart...they are better than the xzilon crap.
