Is TPMS info retained when you disconnect the battery?

Is TPMS info retained when you disconnect the battery?

Anyone know if I'm going to have to do the procedure re-learn my (aftermarket wheels) TPMS when I disconnect my battery and replace with a new one? Or would that only happen if it were disconnected for an extended period of time? It should only be without a battery for a minute or two.

Thanks.

It wouldn't affect them. I disconnect my battery when I installed my R2C intake n the only thing I had to reprogram was my radio n my power windows

yeah the TPMS sensors are "sync'd" with the car so it is not dependent on the battery.

Oh, ok. I was thinking it was similar to the radio pre-sets, where the TPMS IDs are stored somewhere, and if power is lost, it is wiped

You didn't have to reprogram the sunroof or double panel top? I did.

I have had the battery disconnected numerous times, for up to 2-3 hours and have not yet needed to re-set the radio/Sat stations, windows yes.
