Traded my 09S for 2012SV Sport
I enjoyed my 09s so much I traded it in for the 2012 SV Sport with Nav.
I will post my dealer experience later LOL
I have observed a number of differences already and will post them as well
1st question
When starting the car and turning on the air it always goes to 75 and turns on the AC, even if I had the AC off and temp set to 60 when shutting off the ignition.
I think I saw something posted about this before, anyone remember?
Also when locking or unlocking using the door button I don't get the beep like I did on the 09 did they eliminate it?
Will post more observations later

Did a forum search and found the answer
The dealer left the car in Inventory mode
Climate control now works and the doors beep, also fixed my Homelink problem LOL
I picked up the car with 7 miles on it, guess they forgot to press the button.
Next observation the Trunk pull down handle is missing (had it on the 09) checked another 2012 no handle guess Nissan saved .50 on that one.
On the good side the 09 engine ran very hot, when shut down you could bake a roast in the engine bay along with the clicking sound of the metal contracting.
I had to listen to that for 3 years even with 25k miles on it it still would click
The 2012 is a lot cooler like 50% cooler only issue is a burning smell like rubber but the dealer said it's normal for a car with 7 miles on it LOL
More Observations to come....

The trunk handle was off center to the right of the trunk lid.
Nice strong plastic piece marked "PULL"
Made it easier for my wife to close the trunk (she is short)
I asked the dealer if he could remove the one from my 09 and put it on the 2012 but he said no it was factory installed and would be a major project.
If you open the trunk and look up to the right of the lid you can see a 4 inch by 3 inch indentation where the handle should have been installed . Looks like it was attached before the lid was assembled from the factor (no visible screws).

Funny you should ask
This was my 2nd Max purchased in 4 days
Picked up the 1st one on a rainy day and brought it home only to notice what looked like water spots all over the car, dealer said bring it back and we will take care of it and it was normal with Black cars.
When they looked at it I was told it would take a day and gave me a loaner.
Called me the next day and said they would need more time for the wax to cure LOL
Went back 3 days later and the paint was worse, now had swirl makes all over the car and bare paint near the spoiler.
I told them I would not except the car like this so they offered to have it pro detailed I said no way since I don't know what kind of paint problems I would have down the road. So they offered to replace the car but since they did not have one like my original order they offerd me one w/tech package and split the difference.
I really didn't want the Nav. but since the papers were signed and sent in I didn't have much time since they needed to cancel the deal and write another before everything went thru.
So for $900 more I took the tech package.
This car also had minor paint issues like spider marks and scratches on the hood which can be seen in direct light but not felt
I took the car home clayed it polished and waxed.
It now looks good but not perfect (can still see the hood marks in direct light)
They said the problem was both cars were on the lot for 3 months and were not washed properly and in the future they will apply paint protection on all there new cars upon delivery from the factory.
