CA4309 filter

Yesterday I went to replace the factory air filter at 10,000 miles. Easy to unsnap the two clips, loosen the worm clamp, pull out old filter. When I went to put in the new Fram CA4309 filter, it looked to be a little too long and buckled a little on the lower edge. Messed with it for a few minutes and then buttoned it up....a little tough but managebable.
Anybody else have similar experience? Will a different brand fit better???

BTW, after 10,000 miles, the filter was dusty but no leaves and other stuff got that far.

Thx.

Joel

I did a k&n drop-in and it took a few adjustments to get it to snap in with ease.

Is 10,000 miles the recommended mileage to change the stock intake filter for the max?

It's recommended every 15,000 for the stock Nissan filter mainly inspect and see if it needs to be replaced I have a K&N I'll change it out at 30,000 miles
