Push button start confusion

Max family,

I am trying to figure out the life of me why Nissan had to make a feature so complicated?? Can someone please explain to me why they didn't mace the "ACC" feature more operator friendly?? You totally must shut off the car totally and then initiate the push start button in order to use the "ACC" feature on 09 model?? Just venting my frustration but thanks anyhow!!

All I do on mine is with foot off brake quickly double tap the start button and the engine will shut off and ACC will stay on. It takes a little practice to get the double tap down just right but it does work.

Okay, got that solved. Now why is it that when I go to shut the vehicle totally off It must turn the car on first (power from the battery) and then I must push the ignition button again before it turns off totally...ANNOYING!!!

Another double tap to turn it off, not ANNOYING!!! in my world. Anyway we don't have keys to mess with, a huge improvement IMO.
