I just bought a 2012 Maxima SV with premium package and love the vehicle! I just wondering how far does the drive seat slide back when you open the door? My only slide back about 3-4 inches. Is that normal? If I remember correctly, I thought it slide back a little bit further (6-7 inches) when I first got the vehicle 3 days ago. Is there any way to set the "exit position" when you open the door?

 

I believe you can only turn that feature "on" or "off" through the settings menu - not adjust the seat setback........

 

Basically the seat is going back to the fully back position.. So if you now have set it at a different position than 3 days ago the difference is what the seat will move back when exiting..
