Well do you want to go the springs route or coil overs route? Coils you can adjust the height depending on season where as the springs you cant adjust so what are you looking for...

Aint going to happen...its either you get a std Coil drop ( 1.5"Max) or you go with coil-overs and go lower...but then you are in the scrapping mode...
Personally never had the taste to go lower than the std coild drop...but i do like when the coil overs are not overdone!

Bottom line its your personal choice and the depth of the pocket

Create an account with Photobucket or equivalent and then you can use the Insert image icon in your Post reply window

I think the Std coil swap is good...i mean it could be just a bit more to completely close on the wheel well gap...but for the price to do that with coil overs its just insane...
if you want to go lower than that then go with coil overs..

actually, I dropped pretty tightly on coilovers and I have absolutely no problems. I'm not sure how many inches but much lower than eibach springs.

Obviously if you have those donald duck front bumper spoilers then yeah you will scrape even if your stock height.

but with oem bumpers and a nice, low, tight slam you will be OK. Personally, I don't even have to "angle" out of drive ways to clear my bumper. I drive it as if it was a stock car.

Obviously you will have be careful and watch the road for bumps, pot holes etc. any time you run 35 series tires. But overall, it's a trouble free set up. Here's a pic.

Thats another thing to consider...if you are going to go with the lip then you might want to think about how low you want to go

From: Boston Ma,
i personally went with the BC coilovers they had the best reviews overall and i have 20" rims on my maxima but the differance is i love my car slammed..... but although its lowered it drives pretty smooth except the fact that i live in boston so the streets here s#@k.. i went with the eibachs and the only thing that i noticed that i did not like was that the back was lowered more than the front were so it didn't look right.. i would definitly recommend the coilovers oppose to the springs. cause like essjunin said you have more choices with the CO's u can tweak them to you liking and also the damper adjustments too.

yeah I'd stick to BC....the guys who run BC are real world class guys. They know how to run a business and have high value for their customers.
