Cracking center storage lid cover?

Does anyone know if there is anyway to fix this? Can't believe it's started cracking like this after only three years... I have an extended warranty on the car so I'll see if it covers it, I highly doubt it.

It feels horrible under my elbow (hence that ugly brown thing at the top of the photo I have covering it!) If I ever sell the car it can't get any worse looking than this as it's instantly off putting...

Hahaha well I'm about 180lbs and over 6ft so not exactly Butterbean!

That's why I'm surprised it's cracked so relatively quickly! Gah!

I had the same problem on my Infiniti qx4... I ended up buying some leather and making my own cover...

Hmm might be a Nissan/Infiniti thing then! How did you go about making that? Making it match with the existing thread etc must have been fun.....
