NEED GLASS

I just bought a 2012 Maxima and the entire roof of glass broke from something landing on it. So far, I have had no luck on finding replacement glass. Thought maybe someone here could help. This would be the 3 part glass roof, not just the moonroof. Any help would be appreciated

Good grief never heard of that before. sounds like you are attemping to replace the glass yourself. That has to be one tough job, moving parts, leaky seals, too many things to go wrong. I would file a claim through your insurance company and have dealership find the glass and replace it if you think they are competent, otherwise a great repair shop. You want a least a 2-3 year guarantee on this type of repair.

You never said how it broke, could it be a warranty claim? I bet the whole job will cost at least a couple grand.

Sorry to hear about this but make sure you get the job done professionally, too many things to go wrond later on.

I bought this from an insurance company so no coverage...Bummer. But the only thing wrong with it is the glass. I figured an easy fix. I am going through an auto glass company but he cant even get the glass. Nissan doesnt even stock the glass yet (so ive heard) I figured maybe someone here had a better avenue for me to get the glass company their glass. Should be like new once the glass is in

My dealer couldn't tell me much with out a bunch of research, they have changed the front piece (the small one) and it was about 2 grand, installed, but not the larger ones, All of them would have to come out of Tenn.
