How to remove lower trim on window?

My chrome trim at the bottom of the window (left-rear door) is dented. I want to remove it and either reshape it or replace it. To remove it, do I just pry it straight up? What holds it in place? Thanks for advice on this.

Haven't taken the panel off or anything but with most cars there could be screws holding the trim on from inside the panel.

On my Infiniti qx4 all I had to do was pull it up from one end.. But the only thing is mine was rusted and I wasn't being careful with it.. So in your case this method may not work.

Refer to EXT-23

2 clips on either side that seem like they are a pain to remove

the link doesn't work. where are these clips and would I have to remove the interior panel to access these clips? I hope someone has removed this?

I have dents in the bottom driver side chrome trim piece so I want to remove it and order new ones to replace it...

Just notice this thread is two years old. Probably why the link does not work.

This link should get you there.

It is on page EXT-26
