Check Engine Problem, scared to take to dealer

Hello,

I have a 2011 w/ sport.. I put in the Stillen Intake, The Y-pipe and a grounding kit (stock exhaust)... Ever since I put on the y-pipe this problem has been going on.. When I turn the AC on the check engine light pops on (car runs fine/AC blows fine). I disonnected the battery and the MAF. When I plug it back in the light goes away. 2 or 3 weeks later the light goes back on. I've done it twice already. Im scared to take it to the dealer incase they kill my warranty. Have you guys with these upgrades taken you cars to the dealer? Or do you guys know a fix?

Thanks,
Dan

I'm wondering if a sensor got messed up somewhere on either the Y-Pipe or the intake. Also is anything lose like your intake piping?

alright talked to some people with intake as I thought but didn't say.

It's your intake call Stillen bc there was a problem with the MAF placement on the intake with some maximas

Also you can always go to autozone and have them scan it with the CEL on so you know what the code it

From what I've read on this forum alot of guys with the Y-pipe complain about the engine light coming on. Also if u lookup on youtube (maxima Y-pipe) theres a video with a 7th gen max sound test drive at night and look close u will see his engine light on too. I also read on the racingline website that it clearly states ( Off-Road use only ) and thats the reason why i havent bought it. i had the stillen intake and had nothing but problems with it? so therefore i ended up getting the the R2C intake and i havent had a problem since. I know that Ghozt is looking into some HFC's so until then just my borla exhaust im very happy with it.. Good luck bro..

Also I think there is a piece you have to add onto the stillen intake to stop the light from coming on...

yeah its a spacer for the MAF that they provide but even with that it still came on! but i give stillen much respect because after a whole year with the intake they gladly refunded me 100% of my money. I really hate it when that stupid light comes up especially on a brand spanking new car..

i might get flamed for this, but honestly i didnt notice much change at all. i had the Borla on for a few weeks and had the RL Y-pipe installed and drove away and was like "did I just waste my money?". theres a slight difference in sound, i really cant say if there was a bump in power. either the pre-cats or headers are still choking this car out so i feel like until something is done there the Y-pipe wont be that noticeable

and na never seen a CEL in my Max. ever.
