I just installed my new HID's last night. Getting the bumper off to get to the lights is one of the more stressful things I've done to a car, but it wasn't too bad. Now that I understand the process, I'll be looking to take my lights apart and paint them here in the next few weeks.

While I have the lights off, I want to install some new blinker bulbs as well. I hate the orange appearance of the bulb in there. Anyone have any pics of some silver coated bulbs in the housing? I want to keep the orange light, but want to avoid the orange appearance with the lights off. I've been busted on state inspection for having non-orange lights in there on my old maxima, so I want to steer clear of that.

 

You dont have to remove the bumper to put HID's in. Could have saved yourself alot of time going through the wheel well.

 

I learned a lot doing it, and I wanted to know how to take the fascia off and remove the lights for future projects, such as painting the lights. So I'm actually glad I went through the whole process.

Anyways, back to the question at hand...Does anyone have pics of their car with silver coated bulbs installed
