I currently own a 2009 Maxima. It is fully loaded with every option available. It is currently at the dealership to have some issues fixed. The main one being my sunscreen shade. I have the panoramic sunroof. When you go to open the shade, it is jamming up on the left hand side. Seems to not be rolling properly. The dealership is giving me the runaround and telling me that is is not covered by my extended warranty. My car is 4 months shy of being 4 years old. It has 30,600 miles on it. They are telling me that the problem is the sunshade itself. I disagree. Seems to me like if the left side is working properly and the back shade is as well, then there must be something wrong with the rolling mechanism. Has anyone experienced this problem and know whether or not it would be covered under my extended warranty? I checked on Nissan's website and there are quite a few iteme covered as for as the warranty goes. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful. ~Thanks!

 

Which extended warranty do you have, There is several of them available, I have the one sponsored by nissan (security plus) i think, Check your paperwork and not rely on the dealer.
