Recommended PSI with Eibach Pro Kit and Hankook v12

I just had new tsw 19 inch wheels, Hankook v12 tires, and Eibach pro kit put on my '10 SV Premium. I've read through the tire pressure threads on here but I couldn't get a solid answer for what psi I should be running in the tires with a custom setup like this. Based on my search, i'm running 36 upfront and 35 in the rear.

I live in Los Angeles proper, so there's a lot of stop and go and the roads can be a little messy but not many huge potholes like in NYC. The ride feels pretty good but wondering what you guys think.

I can't remember for certain what the sticker says on the drivers door jamb, but I think the recommended OEM tire pressure is around 32 psi?

I have the sport 19's with Michelin Pilot Super Sports and the Eibach springs, so pretty similar setup to yours and I usually run 35-36 psi in the fronts and 33-34 psi in the rears. So far the tires have been wearing evenly both front and rear with rotations every 8K.

33 is the psi posted in our 7th gens. For my style of driving, I have settled on 36 front and 35 rear. But I check the wear every three months by measuring the depth of the grooves across each tire face, and may adjust the psi slightly if the wear isn't even. If the center is wearing faster, I let out a pound. If the edges are wearing faster, I add a pound.

Thanks for the info. Just curious lightonthehill, what is your style of driving and what is the reasoning behind your chosen psi? Is it just to ensure even wear or are there other reasons?

Actually, my choice is based on three things:

1 - I am seldom alone in the car, and often have folks in the back seat and a full trunk. This added weight seems to be handled better by adding a few pounds of air to the tires.

2 - Using 36/35 psi instead of the 33 Nissan recommends gives me a slightly stiffer ride, which means a slightly quicker reaction to steering input. I feel I can take turns (or evasive action) with a tad more confidence with stiffer tires.

3 - Using 36/35 psi seems to result in my tires wearing out in the center about the same time they wear out on the edges. This gives me maximum tire life. I have sailed right on by the 30K mark, and still have lots of tread left on my OEM RS-A tires that are wearing very evenly.

I am a very average driver, in that I try to take it somewhat easy through curves, and try to avoid sharp stops. I spend lots of time easing through subdivisions with lots of turning, in order to see very home in each neighborhood. This type of driving would put excessive wear on the edges of the tires if I went with 33 psi. By contrast, those doing most of their driving on freeways, with few sharp turns, might get more even wear with the 33 psi Nissan recommends.
