front strut questions??

My 10 maxima sv has been driving with a pull to the right. I took the car in for an alignment and was told both front struts are bad. I must have hit something hard is what i has told.

My question is since i have to replace the front struts and re do the alignment are there better front struts than the factory ones and if so will it cahnge or improve anything?

thanks but not a car savy person. if this question is stupid..

As far as I know and this has been discussed here on this forum...there are not any aftermarket struts currently available.
I would be more concerned with something else being wrong (bent) other than the struts.
So fess up, did you actually hit something? And if so what was it that would affect both front wheels? Damaging both struts would take a major impact.
Knowing what actually happened goes a long way in determining possible damage and getting it fixed right.
