dark slate color scheme??????????????

Whats up people.
Ok I have a slight problem maybe someone who has some color scheme matching ability can help. OK I have this 09 Dark slate maxima and I want to customize it but not like everyone elses dark slate. i've already heard about gunmetal and black rims etc etc but too many owners does that. I want something different but also looks good maybe like chrome and red rims of gunmental rims with yellow caliber etc etc.

anyway heres my maxi with nothing to it.

Yea man stick with black or chrome everything else will look terrible. Just do other things like paint the door handle or carbon fiber something. Just take a little of something from everybody.

never thought about carbon fiber, this dark slate color makes it hard to be original but thanks for your reply

It's easy to be original with any color. more about how much you want the car to stand out?

Start with gunmetal then take a look at it and photoshop it and see what the actual wheels you have would look like

One of the regulars here has a white Max in his sig file with really nice black rims that have an evenly sized white lip. Not too garish as red but the contrast really jumps out. maybe he'll see this and post just so you can see what I mean.

Edit: I just found it in another thread...

I think that is a really nice look. But since you are gray instead of white, maybe some other combo would work, but you can see there is just enough contrast to stand out, but not overkill. I think your p-shop red rims are a little too much, just my opinion.

Yeah that red is way too much the more i look at it. I got the idea on what ur saying , i might do a gunmetal face and chrome lip or all gunmetal, black is out the question played out for me. When i get home i'll play around with PS and take these eye sore pics off lol. Thanks for all ya'll opinions

actually...if you do black wheels...black out the chrome trim and slam it...you could have a vicious 7th gen on your hands...
