Gone to the dark side
Well, after many years and many Maximas (7) I recently traded my 2010 for a new Infiniti G37 S. Got a great deal and am now trying to get used to rear wheel drive. I have enjoyed my time in the Maxima and all of the great conversation in the forum. Hope to keep in touch.
We could say you simply made a move from a FWD Nissan to a RWD Nissan.
Expanding on this, the general thought is that Nissan nameplate vehicles are made for the masses, while Nissan vehicles sold under the Infiniti nameplate are in the luxury category.
That is somewhat true, but the Maxima is sort of the crossover step, in that it is Nissan's low volume near-luxury flagship sedan, and the last Nissan sedan step before entering the world of Infiniti.
Keep us in mind when you eventually move up to the M45.
