Painted Chrome Trunk Piece

Had some down time at work so I decided to paint that ugly chrome piece on the trunk. Wasn't hard at all to take off. I took my time on this one to make it look as uniform with the car as possible. I'm very pleased with the result Im a good A** painter lol . Im gonna buff it tomorrow to give it that new car smoothness.

I used a spray gun for this one. Wanted it to look real clean.

Very easy. Just take the carpet off the trunk lid, there will be three bolts holding the chrome on, unplug the the lights and the trunk button and use pliers to pinch the orange plastic pieces and yank it out.

You did a great job. I would've had to take it to the body shop. I give you a lot of credit.

Vinyl

I took mine off and tried wrapping it in black vinyl 6 times lol. Just can't seem to get it done perfect no matter what technique I use maybe painting is the answer.
