Hey guys.Im going to look at a 2010 Maxima SV this friday.The asking price was 26500 all included.I've been in talks for a few days with the dealer and have managed to get them down to 25000 even all included.Is this A good price for these cars?I have never bought a ncar that isnt older than me so I'm new to all of this lol(just turned 21)also,when i go to test drive it is there anything specific I should look for?Specific to this car I mean besides obvious things lol.thanks in advance

More details. How many miles on the car and what packages/extras does it have?

 

It has 55600kms (34548 miles).The dealer said luxury package but im not sure if hes right.

 

I cant seem to find another around here for that price.I found an 09 for 28000 thouh.seems a little high

 

Not sure where you are located. But seems a little high unless you are somewhere that Maximas are rare.

Luxury package? All SV's have leather and I think the only packages at that time were premium (dual sunroof, etc) and sport package (spoiler, 19''s rims, sport suspension) and maybe a tech package (nav, etc).

If the car has all those options then price would be ok.

 

Cold package with heated steering wheel? Or rear window shade and heated and cooled seats?

 

Heated seats so cold package I guess...and yes they are very hard to come by around here,theres 12 used ones in the whole province for sale,8 from dealers.This one I'm looking at is the cheapest 2010 but theres still potential for me to be ripped hence why I am asking lol

 

And i know it isnt the sport package(no spoiler).All I really know is it has the bose stereo but for all I know they all do lol

 

Hey jake! What province r u in? I'm in Ontario outside of Toronto.. I bought a 2010 sport with 42000km on it in July 2012 for $28k last year.. Had to haggle a LOT! As you say Maximas were rare back then.. Was looking for a white premium but fell for the black sport as soon as I saw it, especially those 19's

Just want to inform you that in canada they only sell Maxima SV, no s models!!

 

Well Im in Saskatchewan,if you go on kijiji or dealer websites you wont find another 2010 for under 25000.Maximas are very hard to come by used out here
