2009 svp radio problem

I did a search and only found issues with a 2004. My nav and AC work fine, but my steering wheel controls and radio will not work. It will acknowledge the iPod connection, but says "audio off". The only other button that works is the tune/folder button , but only when pressed and the IPod is connected. All it does is show a music note icon on the bottom left of the screen. If I overlooked another thread, please let me know. This is annoying.

Is this a dumb question or does no one know the answer? I guess I will take it to the dealer.

That crossed my mind, but why would the iPod connector pick up and the right button work? I will check it and post again. Thanks.

No luck. I checked the fuse under the dash and the 4 under the hood. Any other fuses? Any other ideas? Is there a way to reset the radio? Thanks.

I even tried changing out the fuses even though they looked fine. I also removed and checked every fuse under the dash and still nothing. Is there a fuse on the back of the radio?

He was floored. He had to ask them twice. He said he put one in an armada last week for 1800. Mine costs more because of premium/entertainment/tech package. The armada was just nav. I'm lookin to trade it in now. I'm so pissed.

I found it. It's 25915P and it's only used in this version of the Maxima and the GTR. That explains the high price tag.

After waiting and numerous searches, The entire part number is 29515P-1aa3C. The cheapest one I found was still over 800$ from a junk yard. I was awakened by an Ebay search alert on my birthday with one for $156 and bought it ASAP! I'm 99% sure they didn't mean to sell it that cheap as the next one they posted was $350. I got it put in 2 weeks ago and it works great. My airbag light is flashing though...?? I can live with that! Thanks to everyone who helped.
