Big Brake question

So i love the look of the big brake kits especially Wilwood. Do i need to get the whole kit or can i just use the caliper. Im a noob with this stuff and i really dont need the stopping power. Its more for aesthetics??

I wanna say no because the surface area of the pad the the caliper uses will be larger than you rotors and I don't think that's safe. But I could be wrong. But I have seen the 370z calipers on the max.

you'd need a custom bracket if you want to use the OEM rotors, they're smaller so it wont fit right without. theres some benefits to keeping oem rotors, they're lighter with less unsprung weight; but you lose the extra metal for heat dispersion in braking. so if you want a BBK for mostly looks have a custom bracket made and use OEM rotors; if you want the most out of your braking system i'd go with the BBK blank rotors that are bigger than our OEM

and yeah some guy on my7thgen.org got the 370z BBK and it was a direct bolt-on from what i understand
