Quick Question!
Im wondering why all of you out there in 7th Gen's with aftermarket so called cold air intakes (except Ghozt) lol
Why hasnt anyone tried AEM's intake???, to me it looks like the better choice at keeping the most hot air away because of its intake suction tube that has to be fitted to the front air dam of the Maxima by cutting away an actual piece and fitting the tube through it to the front of the vehicle, so it seems to allow it to suck up cold air from the outside as opposed to all tha hot air from the inside of the engine.
What are your thoughts!!!!!!

I agree that the design of the heat shield and the ducting of the air into said shield looks the best of all the companies out there making short-rams for us.
I'm trying this intake out currently. Probs with CEL but hopefully getting em resolved. The install/fit/quality is solid, and the sound is roar-ty. I like it. Just gotta fix the CEL and I think this'll be the best intake available for us ATM. I'll update as time goes on.

unless the AEM shield is complete it wont pull through the grill duct. air travels the easiest path available so if there are holes in the shield the air is going to be pulled from there first before it is pulled through a plastic tunnel. this was the main issue with the R2C, it looked great and functional, but with testing it pulled in the same heat as the rest because air always goes the easiest route first
