Painted tabs for License Plate hole

Bought black tabs from advanced auto parts and covered my license plate holes a month ago and today decided to get touch up paint from my dealership and paint the tabs the same color as my car. As you can see from the pic, it's still there but subtle. Removed my front plate and getting the stow and go. This car with the lip looks 10X better without the plate. I wish NJ would pass a law that front plates are not required. Takes the beauty away from any car IMO

nice

I removed the front plate on my car and now I've gotta deal with that, and then get my front plate back on (mounted differently)...

The dealer massacred my front bumper with the holes. Wanna do this, do you know what tabs I should get?

Just go to the auto parts store or a place where they sell auto paint and assesories. They should have plastic plugs available. Get the kind that tapers to the bumper surface, they're not as noticable once painted to match the car.

Looks like I got lucky. When I bought my car with 7K miles, the previous owner never installed the front plate bracket.

I didn't even realize any of this until I mentioned to a guy in parts department that my car came with a plastic looking cover in the trunk but I couldn't figure out where is went in the trunk.

After a moment of elaboration, he realized that I was talking about the front plate mount and how they don't put those on as it puts holes in the bumper. The customer can decide to do this on his own, and I am glad that left that decision up to me.

Came across a site called bumperplugs.com. Seems like a ripoff for 2 plastic nips lol. They even have a look out for imitations disclaimer. What a joke. I'll get in the zone and check it out. Thanks!
