NAV glitch

Hi All, Not sure I've seen this before - but just in the last couple of days - when I try to search for ANY place - the screen says - "Sorry - data does not exist for this location."

I can search for Restaurant, Gas stations, Hotels, anything - always - "Data does not exist........"

I can use any stored locations - "home", etc. I haven't tried - but I imagine I can input an address, it just cannot find any places. This is actually a feature I use quite often this time of year.

I am dropping off the car for them to check tonight - just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar - and what the result was?

Well - I actually ended up helping the dealer on this one. Just on a whim, I Googled the "data does not exist...." phrase, and ended up with the link below on a Murano forum.

http://www.nissanmurano.org/forums/7...2-avail-2.html

I called the service advisor and told him about it, and emailed the link to him.

Some of the Murano owners had purchased a NAV update (as I had earlier this year) and not installed the application software disc - because it appeared to them to be an older version than was already installed in their car. It was suggested to them to install the disc - and when they did, everything worked fine!

Luckily, I had left the update pack (5 CD's) in the car. I told the service advisor where to find it in the car. He re-installed the app. software disc, and says everything is working fine now. I will pick up the car later today.

Are you sure the region didn't get switched to another one by mistake? You would think something would pop up even if it was. Just checking.
