Confused?

Newbie here and I have a question. Just bought a 2012 Maxima and its silver with charcoal wheels, spoiler, and smoked headlights and tail lights. What exactly do they call this model or package? The dealer said Limited Edition but I see people on here talking about SV and all that. What the heck do I have? Thanks.

I believe the Limited edition has some of both packages the S and SV, there is a Premium, Sport, Technology, package that adds other bells and whistles..i am sure someone will break each package down to you soon.... most likely if you dont have navigation..you dont have the technology package..and most likely...if you dont have 19's you dont have the sport package.

Ok thanks. So when I am looking for accessories or doing anything where they ask for the model, what do I choose as I have really not seen the limited edition option.

The model is S.

Without thinking too hard about it, I can't think of any accessories that would be different between S and SV, anyway.

If you've got an accessory in mind, just ask us and we'll help you make sure you're ordering the right thing.

Car looks awesome. Hit up a tint shop cuz it'll look awesome with the smoked lights and darker wheels.

Yep; posters here are giving you the straight scoop.

You have a base 'S' with the Limited Edition Package, which consists of:

Smoked appearance headlights
High Intensity Discharge (HID) Xenon headlights
Front fog lights
18 inch aluminum alloy Dark Hyper Silver wheels
Rear spoiler
Dark sport appearance front grille
Outside mirrors with turn signal indicators
Compass in rear view mirror
Illuminated kick plates
Metallic trim (replaces Dark Piano-hairline trim)

IIRC, this package costs only around $800 more than the base 'S', and gives us one of the better deals for the money that I can remember seeing.

Very impressive look for the money.
