Wheel opinion...Just got a 2010 Maxima

I got a 2010 Maxima recently and found I can easily make my wheels from my old car fit the Maxima. Anyone have thoughts of how this would look?

Also I am wondering if anyone can help me with offsets. I like my wheels to sit flush with the fenders so I would use spacers to get me there. These are 19x8.5 et48 and 19x9.5 et48

Here are the wheels on my 400whp TT (for sale now)

Here is the new car

Welcome to the site first off! Secondly, I am guessing those that know about spacers would tell you to get about 20mm spacers for those rims and those offsets.

My only question is that I thought Audi ran bolt patterns similar to VWs and Benz? Like 5x112 or something? I haven't really checked, but that is just what I thought....

You are correct. Most Audi/VW are 5x112 (older gen are 5x100)...I believe Nissan/Infinity are 5x114.3 which is very close to 5x112...Pick up a set of wobble bolts ($80 shipped) and you're good to go.

EDIT: There are always adapters as well but I currently have 20mm and 25mm spacers that I would try to use with wobble bolts first.

those Miro wheels will look very sunken in on the maxima, add the step lip factor and it will look even smaller than it appears.

It might work though, you can give it a try.

This may be a stupid question but how would those wobble bolts work? the site says to fit your 5x114.5 wheels on your 5x112 pattern, and they are bolts. The Maxima uses nuts not bolts and your going the oposite route from 5x112 to 5x114.5 so your going from a smaller diameter to a larger. The only way I know if this working is to have the wheels redrilled to the 5x114.5 pattern which runs about $24-35 a wheel.

I don't particularly like the look of the bolt head on those wobble bolts, but I think all you do is remove the lug bolts...which are likely tapped out from front to back on the hub... Oh wait a second...if they're tapped out, then the hub isn't threaded...hmmmm....interesting. I haven't personally looked at the hub on my car as I've had it for only 2 months...so can anyone chime in with how the lug bolts are removed from the hub? Do the lug bolts tap out, or are they screwed out?

As for the wobble bolt adjusting, I think it's fine. They can adjust down or up...left or right...so whether you go from 5X112 to 5X114.5 or the other way around, it will adjust...the lug bolts are now what I am wondering about.

Honestly I haven't looked at the wheel hub at all but knowing now the hub has studs I will just go with a standard adapter (I am using now as the TT is 5x100 and the wheels are 5x112)

I just got done drawing a 5x114.3 pattern under a 5x112 pattern. Basically it took 1/8" larger hole diameter to get the 5x112 to clear the 5x114.3 pattern...If that was the only factor I wouldn't mind but as you can see from my drawing the seat is far enough (at least for me) that it appears unsafe. I have been running adapters for years and will stick to adapters. The wobble bolts would work but after further review are not for me.

That might be an option but I just checked H&R site and the only spacer/adapter they make for the Maxima is a 25mm that will adapt it to Porsche wheels which are 5x130. not sure if Eibach make one. So your only route might be to redrill the wheels if you really like them. I was running some Petrol 20's that were redrilled from 5x120 to 5x114.5 with no issues.

No, there are plenty of companies out there besides H&R and Eibach who make adapters. Adaptec makes very high quality adapters and will make them to any configuration/thickness you desire.
