I'm not too used to mat black wheels, It kinda gives it a totally different look though, I guess very sporty and muted.

My girlfriend calls it the batman car haha!

Sorry for the dirty car, didn't have a chance to clean the car before I took the pics.

I usually don't like the all-black look. But that's sharp. It might be that the rims have an open design so there's some contrast and you can actually see the definition of the spokes. Nice.

what im finding about my darker colored rims is unless you keep the tires clean it makes the tires look really grey and dirty in comparison

thanks, that's what I was thinking to. the spokes give it a lot of room for shadows.

Ya I'm going to give the tires some armor all when I was the car.

It's OK. The dirty car now matches the rims (matte black )

So if I'm going to powdercoat my stock rims dark, and my car color is slate, should I powdercoat them gloss black, or just gloss darkdarkdark gray?

I'm thinking of vinyl over-laying the face of the wheels with glossy black, so the wheels have a contrast between matte and glossy black. So the contrast only comes out at certain angles.

I have a few sets of these in satin black in 20x8.5 +20 all around, will work well with eibach drop and nice strong flush fitment....if anyone is interested.

I want these too, they are super sick! Do you think they can take the tps sensor?

They are muted very well. I think if you painted the brake calipers Red, that would give a very sharp contrast that would be minimal, yet really make the whole "wheel package" really stick out.

ya they are tpms compatible.

no mods required, not too sunken in and not poking out. flush fitment all around.

Here's some pics after a car wash...and a matching electronic tune that matches well to the theme called "technicolor"...get it? there is no color. It's deleted. A pair of powerful stereo speakers is highly recommended.

plastidip? if youre gonna do matte black, either do powdercoat, or spray flat black with a matte clear. dont rattlecan them. youll always be able to tell.

These are powdercoated matte black with matte clear straight from the factory. I'm sure a well trained eye should be able to tell the difference.

I agree, as long as you're 100% certain that you want it that way permanently. I'd be more inclined to plasti-dip as a way of testing the waters. If happy, and the plastic starts to peel or chip, a more permanent paint-like solution would be in the works.
