What do u think is the cause of this cause i see many different opinions when this happens to other owners my dad told me its the axle cause of hitting these bumps in nyc i think its the wheel bearings but the brake pedal i think is the rotars, the viberation became worst after i hit 15,000 miles it was not noticable at first now its really uncomfortable

 

Man I feel your pain.i have a 09 Maxima SV w/ tech pkg with 35,000 miles. It out of warranty but i have the extended . I've had this car for one year now and I have been through the run around with the dealer. First it was clanging on the front end which turned out to be the axles needing grease. Then different clanging ( they said it was the heat shield, so they took it off). Then vibration. And front seat vibration. Mostly over 65mph. And when driving on a bumpy road the ride just gets awful. They road force balanced. Aligned. And it changed nothing! They blame all that on the good year RSA's. Some other clanging that they said they had to use hose clamps to keep something else from rattling. Water in the left tail light and both turn signals in mirrors. My CVT has the low end drone sound. Don't get me wrong I love this car, I want to love this car. It's a beautiful car. I could also go on and on about the things I do love about my max. But I'm hoping someone has an answer to these problems as well as you. Then I will go on and on about the good things.

 

There was a similar thread started not too long ago. People attributed it to unbalanced tires. Is your pedal vibrating at low speeds, high speeds or both?

I know mine vibrates at high speeds. On long trips, my foot actually gets tired. Yes, my foot gets tired. It sounds ridiculous but I'd like to get a better idea of what is causing the vibration, too.

 

Vibration in the steeering wheel and the car body are caused by wheels out of balance. Could be uneven tire wear of loss of a balance weight on the rim. Vibration in the brake pedal while braking is caused by warped brake rotors. The solution is cheap. Rebalace the tires or machine the rotors or both.

 

Well i had just put some continental contipro contact tires in the front and balanced them nicley had them for 3k miles no problem and much smoother ride i dont think its the tires but i set up and appointment at the dealership to check it out
