Switching to Synthetic Oil

Hey guys,
I purchased my 09 in February of this year and I have changed my oil twice. I'm finally going synthetic with my next oil change which I'm doing tomorrow.
I'm using Mobil 1 oil and filter. I've used synthetic before in my 96 and 02 max, but I wanted some feedback from the 7th generation owners.
I'm sure plenty of you are using synthetic. Let me know how the 7th generation feels with the better oil?

My experiences with synthetic is slighly higher gas mileage (about 1mpg) due to the lower oil shear friction in the engine. The main advantage is longer oil change interval. BMW's which use only synthetic oil for example under normal driving conditions go for one year before oil change

No different in performance using full synthetic or not and changing interval 5k mile regardless. Why synthetic? just knowing it is better for the engine. CVT fluid and service should have been more of a concern.
