New Tires?

Can you put 245/45/19 on the 2009 max? Riding stock 245/40/19 currently. In the market for new tires and wanted to get some opinions first. Don't think I am going to put the RSA's back on there. From past experiences it seems like they wear out fast as hell and I am just not impressed with them.

Search for "tire size calculator" on yahoo or google. Put your stock size and new size in to make sure they are the same diameter and wont goof your speedometer up. I have the base 18" rims (stock is 245/45-18 rims) and have been running 255/45-18 without problems. Wider tire = more aggressive look too.

Also have to look at the specs for the tire size on tirerack and make sure it will fit your rim size. All tires have a specified rim width. The 255/45-18 can run on a 7-8.5" rim and I think mine are 8" wide, so its good. I do not know the width of the 19" rims. I am sure someone on here does. Just gotta do your homework and go from there.

Late,
Trav
