Spacers with Eibach Springs

I know there are other threads in here that discuss this, but Id like to see what the final verdict is on what size spacers to put on with my Eibachs. I have a 2012 Sport with stock 19's.

I saw pics of someones Max that had 10mm in the front and 15mm in the back and to me it was the cleanest looking out of all of them. But are there other issues or mods that need to be done in order for those sizes to work?

I dont know much about this stuff, but I want to make sure I do it right. Thanks!

Also, the guy who had them said they were Ichiba spacers. Is there any significance to what brand the spacers are?

the best look is 20mm front, 25mm rear that is closest to flush you'll get on stock. Ichiba V1's are the smaller spacers, V2's are the thicker ones. whatever you get make sure its hubcentric

Thanks. Are there any other modifications that need to take place in order to use the 20mm/25mm spacers? Or any "side effects" of using them?

And what is the difference between v1 20mm and v2 20mm?

I used the exact same set up as ghozt, 20mm in the front and 25mm in the back. The V1 spacer, you will have to change the studs and the v2 spacers have built in studs. The v2 spacers are the way to go, just torque them to the right spec.

Can someone post some pics of this set up (Eibachs, spacers and stock 19's)? Im not sure ive seen it. Different angles would be awsome.

This thread ^^ (click) is the reason I created this. My buddy is a manager at a huge tire company so his techs will be doing the install (wont have to worry about proper torque, etc) but if there is a better way to achieve the spacing, Id rather pay more money and do it properly.

From the responses above, the V2 is their opinion. Any other input on this?

yea the creator of that thread didnt really give any details like who installed them, did they properly install them, etc. if you install spacers incorrectly you are risking totalling your vehicle. read the manufacturers installation torque recommendations, people who have problems with spacers either buy cheap spacers or install them wrong. to pay more money and achieve proper spacing, you buy different rims with different offset

the pics of my car with the stock wheels are what ur lookin for. here is my thread last year from them

^ Ghozt is correct. Cheap is as cheap does. Incorrect installations with questionable parts prove to result in the same poor outcome. I myself do most every mod I'm capable of with my car. With that said I research my homework for the rest...only the best after that.

P.S. depending on the tire/wheel and type of drop I also like 22mm Front and a possible 27mm for the rear wheels.

Thanks for the info guys. It looked like that guy was directly speaking about the V2's.

Im getting mine done at a reputable shop, but Im also conservative so I ordered 15mm F and 20mm R of the V2. Hopefully the extra 5mm wont be a huge difference.

I rotate my tires every 3 months so Ill have them re-torque them every time I go.

I guess its time to order the v2's. I havent ordered wheels and this will give the car a much more aggressive stance.

Hey Guys..I am about to order my rims...The ones I like only come in 18x8..And personally 18" Rims are big enough for me. Please guide me in this..

25mm in the Back
20mm in the Front

These will be Ichiba Spacers v2...

I need new tires too as well. I was going with Ghozt aka Dannys recommendation with the Hankook Tires he provided the link with. With that being said..DO I NEED a specific dimension? If so let me know.

I generally do most of the mods myself..But when it comes to Safety or Painting..I let a shop handle these necessities.

Thank You.

one note, the stock rims i believe are 8.5" wide with a 50 offset, so those spacer widths are for bringing that wheel out to the fender. if you change to a 8" rim we'd also need to know the offset to tell you what kind of spacers you can fit.

regarding tires you can run 245/45/18 no problem. btw the Hankook tires i linked are summer-only tires, but Hankook does make all seasons or winter tires too.

Not that its a bad thing, but it seems like most of the guys on here have the same set up: Stillen Lip/Roof Wing, Eibachs with spacers, OEM 19's, Tint, smoked tails and HID/LED fogs. Other than rims, is this pretty much all there is out there to upgrade the exterior?

unfortunately yeah, that's pretty much it. Sarona makes a body kit as well for the Maxima but it's so-so. beyond what you listed you can do coilovers, buy license plate frames or change out the grill with a couple of options. beyond that the 7th gen has literally no aftermarket support, it's kind of sad.

Where do I find aftermarket grills besides custom?

Stillen makes one, C-Mod makes one, you have the 2009-2011 non-sport and Sport grills, 2012 non-sport and Sport grill, and some guys in the middle east have one that looks like an Infiniti grill

Will 25mm spacers fit on the front of a 2012 with stock 19's???

Is 20mm the widest we can go on the front?
