Seems some serious job is being done, can you write something about what you're doing so we have a better idea?

Sick audio system, nothing like some bass hitting the seats.

The AC screen, how much leeway with the wiring did you have? Did you have to add more wire to bring it lower? I'm thinking of bringing that baby to the lowest panel for my setup... so many choices =)

Can we see some pics of the trunk setup! Did you do it all yourself or did you have a shop do it? I really want to do something like this and get rid of the ugly orange screen.

How did you get the thermostat screen separated from the rest? Hacksaw or something?

I'd love to do something similar, but I don''t want to relocate the thermostat screen to the glovebox.

I've always had this question and I'm thinking of doing a carputer when I purchase my dad's 2009. How big of a screen will fit in the space. I've heard 6.5" and I've also heard 7". Which one is it?

Get a ruler, measure diagonally from one edge of the screen to the other, then take outer dimensions as well.

Last I heard, a 7" screen fits perfect.

Anyone help me out with which head-unit that is? Looks like the only pic that could give detail of the unit requires a yahoo account to view

That's good because it is really hard to find a 6.5 inch TFT touchscreen. I can't go out and measure it because it is my dad's car and I'm buying it off him somewhere around tax season. Just trying to do some research before I take ownership of the car.
