Snow socks?

Any one ever use snow socks? Had a hell of a time getting home on the RSA in 5-6 inches of snow yesterday. http://www.autosock.co.uk/
Guess they are big in the uk.

very interesting, i've never even heard of these before. I wonder how they do in real life situations?

if you get them, post up a review.

The OEM RSA tires are very poorly rated, I recommend go get some new tires, you will be glad you did. I got mine replaced even though the RSAs still had decent tread life on them.

for snow and ice only...NOT for bare roads, the fabric will dissolve. Not as useful here in the States as, say, Norway or Sweden.

^ if you live around where I do, we're some of the last roads to get plowed. if these really work i wouldnt mind a set. FWD helps, but the OEM RS-As are like driving on ice blocks

Yea I'd only use them in times of a blizzard. Like Wednesday, I got to work at 11am, no snow, by 745 we had 6 inches on the ground and still pouding, that 30 mile trip home was almost 2 hours on the interstate.
