I'm looking at getting a Maxima and will be adding a CAI as well. Here's a couple of videos I found on the Stillen. I may go with the K&N.

Stillen's is known to throw a check engine light cause the position of their mass air flow sensor is wrong. They actually include some kind of spacer to try to fix this. Most people just return it and get another brand like Takeda, R2C, or Injen.

Haven't had any reports from members here about those brands throwing a cel.

I recommend Injen after doing a lot of research myself a few months ago.

Whatever you choose, pick one that gives you a guarantee so if it DOES set off the check engine light you can return it at no charge.

None of those Intakes should throw a Cel nope nope. I was originally going to go with the r2c but I think it didn't fit with some of the mods I was going to do.

When I bought my intake, I posted about it here and did alot of research, and never really heard about the Stillen throwing a code. I went with it and still have it installed and love it! The only thing that kind of sucks is taking it out for the cleaning every 15k miles. I don't have any pictures of it, but could snag some tonight if needed.
