2009 Maxima Cup Holder Broke

So Im an idiot and got something stuck in the cup holder where the wood grain closes and the only way I could get it open was to force it and it broke the two pieces that hold it in to the bar. Now it is out of allignment and will not open/close. Anyone ever replace this part?

Ah, that sucks man. Any way to repair it?

Never replaced it myself and I don't want to! It seems the cup holder is sold as a unit and is pricey.

Maybe see if local junkyard has a 7th gen with the part intact. Hopefully it'll be cheaper.

Yea for the most part. I just got the part, havent had time to take the center console apart though to install yet. I got a brand new OEM from ebay for very cheap compared to the $100 my nissan wanted. Here is the link. I best offered $45 and he took it.

I stopped by the dealer yesterday and they want $263 for the part and another $175 or so for labor. They're crazy!
